1. Purpose & Scope
Rival Marketplace is a platform where creators publish AI agents and functions for use by buyers. To maintain trust, safety, and legal compliance, all submitted functions are subject to an automated multi-agent review followed by human reviewer approval before going live.
This policy establishes the standards for what constitutes grounds for rejection of a submitted function, how rejected functions are communicated and remediated, when account suspension or permanent termination is applied, and the prohibited content categories that will never be permitted on the platform.
2. The Review Process
All functions submitted to Rival Marketplace go through a two-stage review process before going live. Every submission will result in one of three outcomes: Approved, Needs Modification, or Rejected.
Stage One — Automated Verification
Upon submission, all functions are evaluated against technical and policy criteria including code integrity, metadata completeness, and flagged content patterns.
Stage Two — Human Review
Complex submissions, third-party API calls, and potential policy, compliance, or legal concerns are escalated to human review. Policy and legal determinations always require a human decision.
3. Rejection Outcomes
A Rejected status is issued when a function cannot be approved or sent back for modification because it contains content or code that violates platform standards, applicable law, or both. Depending on severity, the response may be a formal warning, account suspension, or permanent termination.
4. Prohibited Content Categories
The following categories are prohibited from Rival Marketplace: malicious code; hate speech, discriminatory content, and bias-motivated harassment; firearms, weapons, and dangerous materials; gambling and games of chance; adult and sexually explicit content; and child sexual exploitation and abuse material.
5. Account Suspension & Termination
Account suspension temporarily removes a creator’s ability to submit new functions. Permanent termination removes access to Rival Marketplace, including published functions, earnings history, and associated accounts, where permitted by law.
6. Notification & Appeals
For warning and suspension outcomes, creators may submit a written appeal to the Rival operations team within 14 calendar days of notice. There is no appeal process for cases involving child exploitation material, malicious code intended to harm, or violations referred to law enforcement.
