A unified solution to a fragmented industry
Enterprise AI promised a new era of productivity. The industry responded with more models, more tools, more infrastructure and more for businesses to manage.
Progress shouldn’t be measured by how much AI an organization consumes, but by how much better the business performs. AI should become more efficient, more valuable and easier to operate with every deployment, not more expensive and complex.
That is why Rival brings infrastructure, execution, and expertise together in one platform. Organizations can build, deploy, govern, reuse and scale AI while Rival manages the complexity underneath.
Our Advantage Isn’t Just AI. It’s Human Expertise.
Rival is built on human expertise.
As AI changes how work gets done, valuable knowledge shouldn't disappear into the technology. Rival gives people a way to preserve what they know and earn whenever it creates value.
For experts and builders, it means greater ownership, broader reach and new ways to monetize their expertise.
For businesses, that means practical tools shaped by people who understand the work.
AI provides intelligence. Human expertise makes it useful. Rival makes it scalable.

Why we Built Rival
In 1995, I attended one of the first worldwide web conferences in Boston. The internet was still young, and much of it was being shaped into walled gardens controlled by a handful of companies.
I remember being struck by the argument for an open internet and how important that openness would be to everything that followed.
Today, AI feels like another defining inflection point. But the stakes are even higher. AI is not simply changing how we access information. It's shaping the way we work, make decisions, and live our lives. Yet once again, the future is being built inside closed systems controlled by too few companies.
That is why Charlie Wardell and I built Rival.
Rival helps businesses move faster, cut costs, and scale AI without surrendering choice or control. It gives builders a meaningful stake in the value they create, helps experts put their knowledge to work, and gives teams practical solutions that make their jobs easier.
Our belief is simple: AI should remain open, independent and built around the people it is meant to serve.
Not another closed system.
Just a better path.

Co-Founder and CEO, Rival
We believe enterprise AI should become more valuable every time it's used.
We believe builders should be rewarded for creating great intelligence.
We believe enterprises should be free to use the best model for every job.
We believe reusable intelligence should replace repetitive development.
We believe protecting your IP should be non-negotiable.
We believe organizations should understand exactly what they're paying for.
And we believe enterprise AI shouldn't become more expensive as it becomes more capable.
That's the future we're building.
